shape shadows

We don’t always need fancy art materials, expensive equipment, or a vast amount of space for art….

I made this from galvanised garden wire, fuse wire & pliers,

light and shadows

I love the way the forms merge with the shadows!

I was always wired at art school…

  2. Lovely! I like the play of light on the wire as well as the way in which it goes in and out of focus. I wonder how the shadows might change if you were to use different strengths of light source and holding them at different distances away from the wire?

  3. Working with wire is so much fun. I love what you’ve done with it. And yes, the shadows are very much a part of it.

Hi! I nominated your wonderful blog for the Liebster Award. I’m never sure if people enjoy getting these nominations and participating or not, but I have enjoyed your blog very much. I think your art is wonderful, and I wanted to send a little shout-out to say so. Please don’t feel that you have to participate, but please know how much your blog and your art mean to others. Thank you for blogging!

Here are the Liebster details, if you choose to accept and participate: http://blogofloveliness.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/the-liebster-award-part-i/

You’re very welcome! And no problems at all regarding not passing it along, if you decide not to participate. For me, the main thing is to get others to find your blog so they can see your wonderful artwork. Even if I only get a couple of new people to take a look, it makes me happy. :)

  6. I totally agree with this concept.
